Traffic investigators with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) say one person was killed in a crash in Harrison over the weekend.

An HCSO spokesperson says deputies were called to the 10000 block of Highway 58 at Runyan Road at around 9:50pm on Sunday for a wreck involving one vehicle.

Deputies arrived to find the driver dead at the scene.

The HCSO says the preliminary investigation shows the vehicle was traveling north on Highway 58, ran off the road, and hit a tree.

The name of the driver has not been released.

No other vehicles were involved.

The crash forced the HCSO to close the highway at Runyan Road, which has since reopened.

The crash investigation is ongoing.
