CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A well-known British pub officially closed its Charlotte location on Sunday.
Big Ben Restaurant and Pub, a fixture in the Elizabeth neighborhood along Elizabeth Avenue for many years, announced its closure effective Sunday, Nov. 2.
“We are incredibly grateful for your support, your loyalty, & every memory made within these walls,” the pub wrote in a farewell post.
The restaurant invited guests for a final pint over the weekend, hinting that the closure was merely a new chapter, not a permanent farewell.
They encouraged patrons to “Keep following us for updates as we search for our next home,” though the new location was not immediately clear.
