SIKESTON, Mo. (WSIL) -- A ShotSpotter alert led Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers to a shooting incident on Friday, October 31, 2025, in the 800 block of West Gladys.
Police said when they were responding to the scene, the officers were flagged down by a shooting victim at an intersection nearby.
As officers investigated, they said they found a second victim inside an apartment on the same block. Both victims were taken to a local hospital and were reported to be stable.
Detectives said the suspect is Kyle Hill of Sikeston, Missouri. The Sikeston DPS said a domestic disturbance in the apartment led to Hill shooting both victims.
