LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A beloved Italian restaurant in Louisville announced Sunday it is closing at the end of the year after 15 years of service.

DiFabio's Casapela Italian Restaurant, located at 2311 Frankfort Avenue, posted on Facebook that they are closing.

"After 15 years of serving the best customers there are, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors at the end of this year," DiFabio's said in a social media post.

The restaurant's last day of service will be New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2025. They will also be open on Thanksgiving Eve (Nov. 26) and Christmas Eve (Dec. 24).

DiFabio's advises that its food does freeze well if anyone would like to place any carryout orders before its closure.
