You’d think that government workplaces would be similar with centralized policies and procedures, but there is much that differentiates them.

So what makes a department or agency a good place to work ?

The inaugural Ottawa Citizen Best Public Service Workplaces 2025 has ranked 84 federal departments and agencies from best to worst, mainly using data collected directly from public servants to get to the heart of what they feel about their workplaces.
