Pedestrian Airlifted After Critically Injured By Fleeing Vehicle: Bridgeton PD

A pedestrian is in critical condition after they were struck by a vehicle in Bridgeton Sunday, Nov. 2, authorities said.

At 5:55 p.m., officers responded to South Avenue and Garfield Avenue for the crash, Bridgeton police said. The striking vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival, officers said.

The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries in critical condition, police said.
