Country musician Gavin Adcock did not let a tumble off stage interrupt his show at Winnipeg’s Burton Cummings Theatre on Wednesday, continuing to perform even as he fell into the crowd.

The incident happened while Adcock was performing his song “Deep End.” Fan video captured the shirtless singer losing his footing as he leaned toward the audience, sending him over the edge of the stage.

Despite the unexpected fall, Adcock maintained his composure, continuing to sing without missing a beat. He even kept hold of his bottle of whiskey during the tumble, though his cowboy hat didn’t survive the journey.

When later asked about the mishap on social media, Adcock took it in stride, commenting simply, “it happens.”
