The 2025 NFL trade deadline is just a day away. With the New York Giants having fallen to 2-7 there is still chatter about the Giants adding a wide receiver to try and help rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. More interesting, though, might be whether or not the Giants subtract anyone from their roster before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline.
Offensive lineman Evan Neal and wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, high draft picks by GM Joe Schoen who have never lived up to expectations, remain the names to watch.
Hyatt, who has just three receptions this season and 11 in 22 games over the past two seasons, did not play a snap on offense Sunday vs. the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Ray-Ray McCloud, elevated from the practice squad, played 52 snaps (91%).
