A Scottish man has been charged with murdering a woman who was found dead following a fire at a flat last week.
Emergency services rushed to Byron Street in Dundee at around 7.25am on Friday, October 31 following reports a property was ablaze.
The fire was put out, and the body of NHS worker Natalie Egan, 37, was found inside.
Callum Miller, 26, from Dundee, has been accused of her murder by stabbing her multiple times. He was also charged with two counts of theft and the theft of a motor vehicle, the Daily Record reports .
He refused to leave his cell for the murder petition, and did not appear in the dock. He made no plea, and was remanded in custody ahead of another court appearance within the next eight days.
