TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — The man believed to be involved in a hit-and-run crash, that left one person dead, has been identified.
On Sunday, Nov. 2, a hit-and-run crash left one man dead near the intersection of 5400 South and Warrior Way, just blocks away from Taylorsville High School. Reports show a vehicle struck a man on a motorcycle who would be pronounced dead at the scene.
Dennis Kilgore, 48, was arrested and booked in the Salt Lake County Jail Sunday night on multiple charges including automobile homicide, a second-degree felony.
According to a probable cause affidavit, witnesses at the scene of the crash identified the suspect vehicle as a Chevrolet Avalanche with a Utah license plate. The vehicle's bumper was reportedly left at the scene.
