SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Utah Division of Wildlife is hosting its annual Mule Deer Watch this month.

The wildlife-watching event will take place at the Nash Wash Wildlife Management Area in east-central Utah on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

At the watch, attendees will caravan down to the Nash Wash WMA to watch and learn about mule deer behavior. The DWR shared that guests might also see turkeys, chukars or a black bear.

"The Nash Wash WMA provides crucial winter range habitat for deer as they prepare for winter, and it is also home to other wildlife species. While visitors will likely have a fairly close view of the deer," DWR Regional Outreach Manager Brandon Behling said.
