STATESVILLE, N.C. – An Iredell County Sheriff’s deputy was alerted of a woman driving a Dodge Ram truck along Wilkesboro Highway. A traffic stop was conducted near Bowles Farm Road of the suspect, Susan Montgomery.

During the stop, the deputy suspected Montgomery of transporting illegal drugs. Iredell County deputies searched the vehicle, finding drug paraphernalia. Deputies seized over 65 grams of methamphetamine, over two grams of heroin, several Xanax pill, drug pipes and a hidden digital scale.

Montgomery was arrested and is currently being held without bond in the Iredell County Detention Center.
