The death toll continues to climb in a multi-state outbreak of listeria linked to prepared pasta meals sold in several stores, including several retailers in Florida.
As of Oct. 30, 27 people have been infected across 18 states. Six have died from the listeria strain and 25 have been hospitalized, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
"The true number of sick people in this outbreak is likely higher than the number reported," according to the CDC.
