The Philadelphia Eagles are loading up for another run.
The Eagles acquired pass rusher Jaelan Phillips in a trade with the Miami Dolphins, according to reports , as they continue to try to bolster their embattled defense.
Philly sent a 2026 third-round pick to Miami for Phillips, who has three sacks in nine games this season but is tied for the NFL lead with nine quarterback hurries .
Phillips’ 34 pressures are tied for 12th in the NFL.
Monday’s deal came on the eve of the NFL trade deadline, which is 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Phillips, 26, is the biggest new addition to an Eagles defense that also acquired a pair of cornerbacks — Michael Carter II from the Jets and Jaire Alexander from the Baltimore Ravens — in trades last week.
