President Donald Trump spoke with CBS News' "60 Minutes" in an interview that aired on Nov. 2.
In the wide-ranging conversation that occurred at Mar-a-Lago on Oct. 31, Trump called to end the Senate filibuster, said immigration officials could do more to deport people, and weighed in on the New York mayoral race.
It was his first appearance on the CBS News show after the network settled a lawsuit brought by Trump over edits to a “60 Minutes” interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris for $16 million.
Not all of Trump's interview made the televised show that aired Sunday, but CBS has posted the transcript of the conversation and an extended version on YouTube. Here is what to know:

First interview since CBS settled lawsuit for $16 million
Trump first filed a $10 billion lawsuit against CBS in October 2024 over allegations that it deceptively edited a “60 Minutes” interview with Harris, his Democratic Party opponent in the presidential election at the time.
Trump raised the claim for damages to $20 billion in February, according to Reuters.
In July, Reuters reported that CBS' parent company Paramount settled the lawsuit with Trump, agreeing to pay $16 million to Trump's future presidential library.
"The settlement does not include a statement of apology or regret," a statement from the company read. It came as the parent company was preparing for an $8.4-billion merger with Skydance Media, which was completed weeks later. The network has seen a staffing upheaval in recent months.
