BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Monday that he is relinquishing play-calling duties for the second straight season.
First-year offensive coordinator Tommy Rees will call plays when the Browns return from the bye this Sunday in New York.
Stefanski also announced that rookie Dillon Gabriel will remain the team's starting quarterback.
Last season, Stefanski turned over play-calling duties to then-offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Following the 2024 campaign, Dorsey was fired.
Rees joined the Browns in 2024, serving as tight ends coach. He spent the 2023 season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Alabama.
