OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. - A 21-year-old was arrested after a car crash early Saturday morning that killed one person and seriously injured nine others.

According to the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office (OCSO), deputies responded to the crash in the area of Conconully Road and Talbert Loop Road at around 1:00 a.m. on November 1.

Deputies saw several people lying motionless in the road, and a woman in the passenger seat with "major injuries to her skull." The car, a gold GMC, was badly damaged and appeared as if it had rolled.

11 total people were inside the car, according to OCSO, and most of them reported being ejected when it crashed.
