STATEWIDE -- Kindness used to be a way of life for people here in Maine and throughout the country. A nonprofit called Acts of Kindness Maine is hoping to reintroduce that virtue into our society, one small gesture at a time.
"It's doing the right thing for other people without expecting something in return," said one pedestrian.
"Kindness looks like our government balancing the budget, that would be kind because inflation is out of control," said another pedestrian.
"Kindness is what being human is all about," added Jeff Edelstein, the founder of Acts of Kindness Maine, a nonprofit dedicated to reintroducing kindness in the workplace, schools, and in communities throughout our state.
