AnMed has begun renovating and refurbishing the Windsor Place shopping center near Anderson into a new medical office complex, the health system announced Nov. 3.

Located at 1520 East Greenville St. (S.C. Highway 81) near downtown Anderson, the overhaul is part of AnMed’s broader efforts to expand access to health care in the communities it serves.

Among the offerings to be housed in the new complex will be: • Orthopedics and sports medicine • Ear, nose and throat care • AnMed integrated therapy • Occupational medicine

The facility will also include an outpatient imaging center featuring 3 Tesla MRI technology.

The 82,267-square-foot space is open next summer for orthopedic and sports medicine patients with additional offices following about every two months.
