BECKLEY, W.Va ( WVVA/ Gray News) - Authorities in West Virginia are investigating alleged fentanyl found in a child’s trick-or-treat basket over the weekend.
Beckly Police Department Deputy Chief David Allard said a vial labled as “fentanyl” was found in a trick-or-treat basket on Halloween night.
The substance will undergo testing to confirm its contents.
Allard said no injuries have been reported.
