RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Police Department has shared more information about its plan to install new speed cameras throughout the city. The new details include a deployment date and a list of initial camera locations.

RRPD said the current vehicle-based automated mobile speed enforcement cameras that are part of the city’s Safe Traffic Operations Program (STOP) will be replaced with smaller mobile camera units, provided by the existing third-party vendor, Verra Mobility.
