LINN COUNTY, Iowa (Court TV) —An Iowa man accused of killing four people at a rural property is facing life in prison if convicted.

Luke Truesdell, 37, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the June 5, 2024, deaths of Keonna Ryan, Romondus Cooper, Amanda Parker and Brent Brown near Marion.

During opening statements on Wednesday, prosecutors said Truesdell ambushed the group inside a garage workshop, attacking them with a three-foot metal pipe and leaving behind a bloody, chaotic scene.
