JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott announced Monday he is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a man accused of shooting of a Jacksonville police officer and K-9.

Bobby Michael Dennis, 64, the man at the center of a Blue Alert, is wanted for aggravated assault against a public servant and interference with a police service animal in connection with a shooting that happened Sunday evening in Jacksonville.

Abbott also said Dennis has been added to the Texas Department of Public Safety's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List .
