A Lufkin woman shot and killed her 8-year-old son and then shot and killed herself late Saturday night in Livingston.

Lufkin Police say they had been looking for 27-year-old Adelia Torres after it was reported that she was suicidal.

According to Livingston Police, they found Torres’ vehicle on the side of Highway 59 and inside they found her and her son dead, each with a single gunshot wound.
