PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A St. Helens man has been arrested on serious charges including sodomy and sexual abuse, following an investigation by the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Cameron L. Hindman, 26, was taken into custody on Friday, Oct. 31, in Scappoose on a related arrest warrant. PPB says the arrest stems from two separate reports filed in January 2025 by women who alleged they were sexually assaulted by Hindman after meeting him through online dating apps.
Both women reported that the incidents occurred at a home located in the 4700 block of SE Hawthorne Boulevard. They described Hindman using physical force to engage in sexual activity, and both victims sought medical attention following the assaults.
PPB has released a photo of Hindman in an effort to identify any further victim
