BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (KFYR) - A plane made an emergency landing east of Belle Fourche, S.D., on Highway 212 last Wednesday night due to mechanical issues.
South Dakota Highway Patrol says the 1959 Piper PA-24 plane was flown by a 44-year-old Belle Fourche man.
Troopers, Belle Fourche police, and Butte County Sheriff deputies escorted the plane six miles to the airport Thursday morning.
There were no injuries.
