PATH service between New Jersey and Manhattan has resumed after police determined a suspicious package at the 14th Street station posed no threat, authorities said.

Port Authority police received reports of the item around 1:50 p.m. on Monday, officials said. The NYPD bomb squad responded and PATH suspended service on two uptown lines from Journal Square and Hoboken to 33rd Street.

By 3:24 p.m., police had determined the item was harmless. Full service resumed around 3:46 p.m., with residual delays.

NJ Transit trains and the 126 bus had been cross-honoring PATH tickets during the disruption, but that ended at 3:50 p.m.

Port Authority police said their investigation at the station is ongoing.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
