RAGLEY, La. (KPLC) - A Ragley man was arrested after a woman accused him of forcefully raping her in his home.
The alleged victim told deputies Joshua Butter had raped her on Oct. 14, Beauregard Parish Sheriff Mark Herford said.
The woman said Butter invited her over to his house, and she believed they were going to watch TV. He then held her down and raped her, Herford said.
The alleged victim reported the assault on Oct. 20, and Butter was arrested on Oct. 28. He was transferred to the Vernon Parish jail, according to jail records.
Butter faces charges of first-degree rape and false imprisonment: confinement or detention.
