Bears edge rusher Dayo Odeyingbo suffered a torn Achilles in the team’s win over the Bengals on Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport announced on Monday. As a result, he will miss the remainder of the 2025 regular season.
Odeyingbo was one of the prized free agent acquisitions that Ryan Poles made this past offseason, as the Bears signed him to a three-year, $48 million deal in March. Having spent the first four years of his career with the Colts, the 26-year-old defensive lineman played in and started all eight games Chicago has played to this point.
Production had been tough to come by for Odeyingbo prior to his unfortunate injury. In his eight games, he had tallied just one sack with 21 tackles, one pass deflection, and four quarterback hits. PFF gave him a 54.0 defensive grade for the
