GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Federal prosecutors have asked that a Spring Lake man undergo a competency evaluation after he was accused of threatening President Donald Trump.

Aaron Michael David Wachter posted messages on X suggesting he would kill Trump if he discovered the president was behind the killing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, according to a federal prosecutor’s court documents.

Wachter made several unusual claims in an interview with a U.S. Secret Service special agent, the prosecution said.
