Lower-ranked teams are toppling the big dogs at a historic rate, proof that parity is no longer a trend but the new normal.

Three top-10 teams in the CBS Sports Power Rankings lost in Week 10 -- all on the road, by the way -- to lower-ranked or unranked teams. Incredibly, lower-ranked teams in the AP poll are 18-13 against higher-ranked teams this season, the best winning percentage for the smaller guys since 1965.

That doesn't mean the College Football Playoff dreams are completely dead for teams like Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and Miami, though we certainly understand the Yellow Jackets have a much stronger argument to stay afloat with only one loss.
