BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Boardman police were called to a gas station store Sunday evening after a caller reported that they believed a juvenile in the store had a gun and feared a robbery attempt.
Police were called to the Shell Gas Station on Market Street around 7:30 p.m. Sunday after an employee of the store called to report a concern of a robbery after a group of juveniles walked into the store, and one appeared to have a gun in the waistband of their pants, according to the incident report.
When police arrived, they ordered four teens to get on the ground. A fifth teen then came out of the restroom, and police ordered him to show his hands and get down to the ground as well.
Officers observed what they stated in reports appeared to be the handle of a handgun in his jacket pocket.
