ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway into a fire over the weekend at a chemical manufacturing facility in Attleboro.
Firefighters responded to 113 Olive St. around 12:45 a.m. Saturday to find flames had activated multiple sprinklers and burned through the second floor.
Officials said the fire was under control within about 25 minutes and contained to one area of the building, which is used by a company that produces paints, primers, and finishers.
Several surrounding departments, including Pawtucket, Seekonk, and Rehoboth, were called in to assist. The Attleboro building and electrical inspectors also responded to the scene.
