Care and comfort are in jeopardy for thousands of frustrated UnitedHealthcare policyholders who are spending significant time and energy to find new doctors after losing in-network coverage at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Finding a new team of doctors has become a full-time job for Lindsay Creed, who is researching providers online and constantly making calls.

"It has been challenging, especially when you're trying to set up with specialists," Creed told WBAL-TV 11 News Investigates. "I had a medical call, a medical call, a medical call, some calls to family and friends, probably, to complain about the medical calls."

Creed had built a team of Johns Hopkins Medicine specialists since she was diagnosed with melanoma in 2010. She has had it three times and relies on her Hopkins
