ROSEAU COUNTY, Minn. — A Warroad man has been charged with three felonies for allegedly misusing his elderly mother's money and failing to pay for her care at a senior living center.
Reginald Colin Millsop, 50, is charged with three counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult by breaching a fiduciary obligation and failing to provide care. The maximum sentence for the charge is 10 years of imprisonment.
An adult protection report was filed on April 15 after a social worker discovered a senior living center resident had an unpaid bill, and her son — Millsop — hadn't responded to calls or certified mail, according to a probable cause statement filed in the case.
