VAIL, Ariz. (KVOA) - Changes to the costume policy could be on the horizon for the Vail School District after an uproar over T-shirts worn by math teachers at Cienega High School on Halloween.
The controversy stems from claims by Turning Point USA that the costumes referenced Charlie Kirk's death. However, the Vail School District insists that's not true.
In response to the situation, increased security measures have been implemented at the school and will continue as needed. This is due to some teachers receiving death threats over the incident.
