MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man was arrested after an off-road vehicle crash left three people hospitalized on Saturday morning in Mesa.
At about 12:30 a.m., first responders were dispatched to a neighborhood near Signal Butte Road and Guadalupe Road for reports of a crash, according to the Mesa Police Department.
There were five people inside an off-road vehicle traveling on Santa Rita Circle when the driver, identified as Brian York, reportedly failed to turn, hit a curb and a light pole, and flipped over.
One of the passengers was seriously hurt, but is expected to survive. The two other people who were hospitalized have non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe York may have been impaired when the crash happened.
York was arrested and booked into Lower Buckeye jail on one
