The Cincinnati Bengals have been viewed as potential sellers heading into Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, but there is plenty of reason to be skeptical that they are willing to part with one of their most coveted players.
Trey Hendrickson was the subject of trade talk throughout most of the offseason. The Bengals finally agreed to a new one-year, $30M contract with him prior to Week 1, but the rumors have resurfaced with the Bengals 3-6 heading into the deadline. Joe Burrow has been out with a foot injury and will not return until December at the earliest, so Cincinnati's chances of contending for a postseason spot appear slim.
