The McDowell football team sat idle a week ago after an unexpected forfeit by rival Erie for the District 10 6A championship.

Trojans' head coach Aaron Slocum and players spoke on Monday afternoon about how the team has utilized their additional time to prepare for the upcoming PIAA 6A subregional matchup with State College.

McDowell will host State on Friday, November 7th at 7 pm at Gus Anderson Field for the 6A subregional.
