CATSKILL – The body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Catskill Creek in the Village of Catskill late Sunday morning.

State Police from the Coxsackie barracks recovered the body.

The investigation is being conducted by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Catskill and the Troop F Forensic Identification Unit.

State Police are assisted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Catskill Village Police.
