The City of Rockford is looking to educate the public on human trafficking. In a partnership with AED Essentials and iEmpathize, they are bringing a unique display to Rockford University.

It's an immersive museum teaching all about the signs of human trafficking. Randy Johnson, a Rockford firefighter and paramedic, hopes to shine awareness and educate people on prevention.
"I think people have apathy that that it's in their community. They don't want to think that it's in their community, because that means they don't live in a nice place. The reality is it's everywhere," he said. "It's more about what we do when we're educated, how we interact to stop it or to make changes in our community."
