ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — The 146th Street bridge over US-131 was struck by a semi-truck Monday evening just before 6 p.m.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Office said the semi was traveling southbound, carrying a piece of heavy machinery.
The sheriff's office said there were no injuries in the incident. MDOT assessed the damage to the bridge.
US-131 is closed from 100th St to 142nd Ave until further notice, according to authorities.
The last time the bridge was struck was back in August, when a semi truck hit and damaged the bridge. The freeway was closed for almost a week after that incident.
