Northern Light says it will not bill patients until an agreement is reached

MAINE, USA — Anthem Insurance customers will not be facing higher medical bills for services at Northern Light Health. In fact, according to Northern Light, patients will not receive any medical bills until a new deal is reached between the two companies.

A spokesperson for Northern Light said the system is holding all claims to keep things ‘like normal’ for patients.

Anthem confirmed that as long as Northern Light does not file insurance claims, patients will not be charged for medical services during this time.
