GREENVILLE, S.C. —

The countdown to election day is almost over in Greenville, with Tina Belge and Matt Alexander running to serve on Greenville's City Council.

Alexander is an Army veteran who transitioned from flying helicopters to working in the private sector.

"Bringing together diverse groups of teams with different skill sets to work towards a common goal, and that's what excites me about this position," he said.

Belge, a third-generation resident of the Upstate, has worked as a planner for Greenville County.

"I look at traffic patterns and I look at development codes. I have the background and building incentives for affordability. Working with folks on childcare issues," she said.
