After US President Donald Trump announced his support for independent candidate and former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the upcoming New York City mayoral elections, tech billionaire Elon Musk has also endorsed Cuomo against Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani for the bid to be NYC’s mayor in the general election scheduled for November 4.

In a post on X, Musk cautioned his 229 million followers and others that voting for Republican mayoral nominee Curtis Sliwa would only help the chances of Mamdani winning the race and urged his supporters to vote for Cuomo in the election in New York.
