Breece Hall back in the summer fully understood that in the last year of his rookie deal he would have to prove his worth to head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey.

“We got a new head coach, a new GM and obviously I wasn’t drafted by them. I’m not their guy, so for me, like I said, I got to prove it every day. I think, for me, I got a chip on my shoulder — I feel like, ‘OK it’s my last chance.’ ”
