Judge Tim Burgess Administers Oath of Office

The Town of Leesburg had swearing in Ceremonies with Mayor Brandy Pierce taking the Oath of Office Monday afternoon administered by Probate Judge Tim Burgess. Burgess then administered the Oath of Office to each Town Council Member, Place 1 Lisa Burt, Place 2 Joe Sonaty, Place 3 Jimmy Tillery, Place 4 Keith Hayes, and Place 5 Melissa Rodriguez.

The first regular meeting of the new Administration was held at 5pm.

The Council approved resolutions appointing Susan Williams as Town Clerk/Treasurer, Hunter Brisendine as Police Chief, Chad Hopper as Town Attorney, McClure, Sewell, Johnson and Associates as Auditor, and consideration of designating depositories for Town Funds.
