Under Obamacare, states set up health insurance exchanges so that those needing health insurance could find something affordable.
This year Nevadans may have an even tougher time locating a plan that falls under that definition.“
We’ve been getting a lot of calls about open enrollment,” says Matt Law, a broker with Health Benefits Associates. “There’s a lot of people asking about different plans being available. Why their rates are going up so much? Why they are losing insurance? We are getting a full array of questions from everyone in Nevada.”
Law says as a broker he and his colleagues knew this 25% on average price hike was coming.
