The high school boys soccer playoffs are right around the corner in North Carolina as the NCHSAA announced brackets for all eight of its classifications on Sunday, Nov. 1.
This fall is the first playoff season since the NCHSAA expanded to eight classifications. That means Laney and Hoggard will compete in the state's 8A class, which comprises North Carolina's 32 largest public high schools.
Ashley and New Hanover join Topsail and North Brunswick in the 7A bracket, while West Brunswick is in the 6A bracket. South Brunswick is 5A, while Pender and Trask are 3A.
