DOVER TWP. ‒ Authorities have identified the body found following a fire in a motor home last week as a Massillon man, the Tuscarawas County Coroner's Office said.

Samuel Crawford, 38, was identified as the victim. His remains were taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The fire remains under investigation and the cause of death is pending.

The Sheriff's Office and firefighters responded to the fire at 11:38 a.m. Oct. 31 at 2920 VonKaenel Drive NW. Neighbors reported that they believed someone was living there.

When searching the motor home after the fire, authorities found the remains of a human and a dog. The Sheriff's Office said last week that there wasn't an indication of foul play.
